PRP Therapy for Skin

PRP therapy for skin uses the same platelet-rich plasma process as PRP hair therapy — a small blood sample is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, separating them from other blood components. This concentrated plasma is then applied to the skin, typically through fine micro-injections or alongside microneedling, which creates channels allowing the growth factors to reach deeper skin layers. These growth factors are thought to support the skin's natural repair and collagen-production processes, which may contribute to improved texture, tone and a more radiant appearance over time. Because the plasma is derived from your own blood, allergic reaction risk is low. The procedure is performed with topical numbing, takes under an hour, and involves mild redness or swelling for a day or two. As with other regenerative treatments, a course of sessions is typically recommended.
